Living in this little town in Iowa is just right for me. Spring is my favorite time of year when our world becomes green, like a gem in the center of the country.
I have been married for 4 1/2 years to an English Gentleman. We have traveled to his home in England four times and have done quite a lot of sightseeing there. He has a married daughter with two granddaughters. My family consists of four children, 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
We have a small greenhouse which EG puts up each spring where we carry on the plants we have already started in the house. It has become a great hobby. EG has always grown lots of flowers back in England, and now some of that beauty is adorning this little part of the world.
Supplying my Etsy shop is rewarding. Each article created is a labor of love. Spending time with this effort is fun and fulfilling; sharing is satisfying. My desire is that it brings happiness to others.

As a Christian, it is heartwarming to see the warmth and joy coming from other Christians on the Etsy site. I have met some special people there.

Knits by wlsm12!I have many hobbies, which one of my favorites is knitting. Some of my other favorites are sewing, birdwatching & photographing birds, scenery or just anything that catches my eye. I like to cook and I only bake once a year since I actually bake for a month all my speciality cookies for the holidays.
As far back as I can remember, I always loved crafting. My grandmother was a seamstress, cook and gardener, who passed her traits to my mom, so I guess that’s where I get it from. I like to experiment with different styles and yarns  and colors. I have made my own gifts for years.
I use quality materials and several brands. I am sensitive to smells so I take extra measures to insure my yarns & knits do not absorb any. All yarns are stored & packed in containers in my smoke-free home and animal free craft room. Upon completion all items are tagged and packaged.
